Your Mission: You will help shape the media experience at Propeller end to end, from video upload and background processing through to transcoding, streaming, and playback across mobile and desktop. You’ll evolve and maintain Propeller's 360 walkthrough experience while delivering new media integrations across the platform. Success means making media features reliable, useful, and ready to support future hardware and product integrations. Your Responsibilities: • Media feature delivery: Build, design, and maintain media features across backend, frontend, and mobile. • 360 walkthroughs: Own and improve the existing 360 walkthrough functionality. • Media integrations: Integrate new media types and hardware by working from camera and device specifications. • Video pipeline: Help deliver video upload, background processing, transcoding, streaming, and playback. • Ground Capture collaboration: Work across the Ground Capture group on shared product goals and future drone and dock integrations. Requirements • 3+ years experience working across the full stack. • Confidence moving between different parts of a technical pipeline. • Ability to read technical or hardware specifications and turn them into practical integrations. • Strong communication, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Comfort learning unfamiliar systems and taking ownership of ambiguous problems. Bonus points for: • Understanding of media formats, codecs, transcoding, or streaming. • Experience with asynchronous or background task processing.
