Full Stack Engineer, AI Platform - NEW YORK - UNITED STATES Salary Details: $225k-$300k Base + Substantial Bonus The Role You will help build the core platform used to deliver AI capabilities across the organisation, including: • Cloud environments used to access AI models • Central APIs and backend services • Modern web applications and internal tools • Integrations between AI services, internal systems and data You will have ownership across the full development lifecycle, from architecture and design through to deployment and ongoing improvement. Requirements • Background. You MUST have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering and this MUST be from a top 35 US University or a leading international one • Experience. Roughly 3 to 8 years of hands-on software engineering, at a company known for a high engineering bar . • Strong full-stack development experience, particularly backend • Experience designing and running production APIs and backend services • Strong experience with React or another modern frontend framework • Python or Java backend experience highly desirable • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, REST APIs and web applications • Genuine interest in generative AI • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Experience with Node.js, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GraphQL or CI/CD The Opportunity This is an opportunity to move into AI without needing previous professional AI experience . You will work with modern AI technologies and have exposure to how generative AI is deployed across a major global organisation. The team is small, collaborative and gives engineers significant ownership over their work.
