Group Business Strategy Lead - Insurance

Role & responsibilities: Group Business Strategy Lead: The Group Business Strategy Lead will be responsible for developing, driving, and managing high-level strategic initiatives for the company's group insurance portfolio, covering group term life, gratuity, and superannuation schemes. - Strategic Planning: Formulate medium - and long - term growth roadmaps for group business segments. - P&L Co - ownership: Partner with business heads to track financial performance, manage budgeting, and implement risk - mitigation or course - correction levers. - Market & Data Analytics: Evaluate industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory updates to identify new product or segment opportunities. - Performance Management: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze management information systems (MIS) data, and drive periodic reviews with senior leadership. - Formulate comprehensive sales and channel strategies to scale Group Business operations, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching revenue targets. - Drive the development of innovative product-market fit strategies for Credit Life and Annuity portfolios to capture untapped segments and enhance customer value. - Analyze performance metrics across alternate channels to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures that improve distribution efficiency. Preferred candidate profile: MBA with 7+ years experience in similar role.
