Unisys - Presales Solutions Architect - Digital Workplace Services

What success looks like in this role: - Provides presales solution architecture services for an assigned client base. - Provides technical input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents within the sales process. - Contributes to or prepares high-quality technical documentation, including proposals, RFP responses and solution architecture diagrams. - Contributes to or makes decisions about how solutions should be designed and implemented. - Supports the development of cost elements and resource estimates as well as solution models. - Demonstrates Unisys products and solutions for clients, remotely or onsite. - Maintains a working knowledge of the industry and competitors and acts as a valuable resource for sales team members, clients and other stakeholders. - Works with clients to perform implementation reviews and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical or procedural challenges. - Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems and processes to improve overall sales performance and service delivery. - Adheres to appropriate Unisys processes, architectural artifact requirements and the Unisys end-to-end service model. You will be successful in this role if you have: BA/BS degree and 6 - 8 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Functional Experience: Strong expertise in: - Service Desk - Field Services and Desk-Side Support - End User Computing (EUC) - Workplace Support Services - Managed Services Pre-Sales Skills: - Solution architecture and consulting. - Proposal development and bid management. - Participate in RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses. - Costing and pricing models. - Executive-level presentation and communication skills.
