Supervisor - Subdivisions

A long‑established civil contractor with a strong reputation across Victoria is seeking an experienced Supervisor to support the delivery of multiple long‑term subdivision projects in Melbourne's North & Western suburbs. The Role As Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role on site — coordinating people, plant and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to program. You’ll be the central point of communication between crews, clients and project management, driving production outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily site operations, ensuring works align with program, safety and quality requirements • Manage labour, plant and subcontractors to achieve production targets • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives, progress and expectations • Maintain accurate site diaries and documentation • Sign and code all plant hire, materials and labour dockets • Ensure all personnel hold valid White Cards, are inducted and have signed the site register • Deliver toolbox talks, daily pre‑starts and ongoing safety communication • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure program and quality standards are met • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement About You To be successful, you will bring: • A stable employment history with progression through site‑based roles • Demonstrated experience delivering land development / subdivision projects in Victoria • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on safety, communication and team culture • Proven ability to manage subcontractors, plant and resources effectively • Solid understanding of civil construction including earthworks, drainage and pavements • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously • Commitment to delivering profitable, high‑quality project outcomes Apply For a confidential discussion, contact Leigh Rowbottom at Talent Associates on 1300 363 445 , or click apply now to submit your application.
