Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a Software Development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and enable team members talent and career development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software development efforts with organizational goals. - Ensure that the development of software aligns with the company's long-term strategic objectives. - Develop and maintain high-quality software applications, ensuring technical feasibility and scalability. - Oversee integration of internal and external systems. - Lead complex development tasks. - Participate in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment cycles. - Implement and maintain rigorous coding and documentation standards, testing procedures, and best practices. - Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - Ensure completed tasks meet deadlines and established standards, including business and audit control requirements. - Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to determine their relevance for the team and the business. - Communicate effectively with senior executives, technical leads, and key stakeholders. - Present complex technical concepts and solutions in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: 1. Bachelors degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Skills & Experience: 1. 10+ years of experience in software development, including 4+ years in a leadership or managerial role. 2. Hands on experience using JavaScript, including frameworks like React, Angular, and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js), databases (SQL, MySQL etc.). 3. Lead the design and development of APIs, focusing on JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, etc.) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js). 4. Familiarity with consumption of 3rd party APIs (Restful, SOAP, WCF). 5. Extensive experience in software development using C#, JavaScript, and .NET frameworks (.NET Core, MVC, ASPX). 6. Solid understanding of system integration, database management, and cloud technologies. 7. Proficiency in Developer Utilities (e.g., Visual Studio, Rider) and experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery). 8. Strong familiarity with XML, JSON, and working with integration tools.
