Stormwater and Floodplain Engineer

Council is seeking a skilled Stormwater Engineer to manage and optimise the performance of our stormwater asset portfolio. This role supports a growing coastal community by ensuring sustainable, compliant, and effective stormwater infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver stormwater asset management plans and forward works programs • Manage asset data, condition assessments, and lifecycle planning • Oversee capital works and maintenance programs • Review designs and provide technical advice on stormwater and flood management • Engage with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders About You: • Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or equivalent experience) • Experience in stormwater, drainage, or asset management • Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills • Current Class C Driver’s Licence Join a high-performing council committed to protecting the environment and delivering quality infrastructure for the community.
