ABOUT YOU: You must: • be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate. • have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. • have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job. • be committed to a career in your field of study. • be able to work at least 3 days per week. LEARNING OUTCOMES: You could be provided work experience in the following areas: • Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs • Testing and evaluating new programs • Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications • Writing and implementing efficient code • Determining operational practicality • Developing quality assurance procedures • Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems • Training users • Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: • Web page design using HTML and CSS • Version Control • Create wireframing designs based on Figma Design • JavaScript • React • Run Database with Docker • Connect the Backend with the Database • Connect Frontend to Backend • Deploy Web Applications SOFTWARE SKILLS RECOMMENDED: • HTML • React JS • JavaScript • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) • POSTman • PostgreSQL • Kotlin & Spring • GitHub • DevTools • Liquibase LOCATION: The host company is located at Southbank, VIC.
