Full-Stack Developer

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: • Commercial experience in a software-development role, ideally with 2 - 3+ years experience. • Strong C# and .NET development skills. • Experience building and maintaining web applications across both front end and back end. • Front-end development experience with Angular, or another modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework such as React or Vue. • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript. • Experience working with relational databases and data-driven applications. • Understanding of source control, code review and modern development practices. • Exposure to the wider software-development lifecycle, including testing, releases and production support. • Ability to troubleshoot issues methodically and produce clean, maintainable code. • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. • A proactive mindset, with the willingness to learn, ask questions and take ownership. • Experience with recent versions of .NET. • Entity Framework or comparable ORM experience. • Azure exposure, including cloud-hosted applications, deployment pipelines or related services. • Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform. • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices and automated testing. • Experience working in Agile teams using two-week sprints. • An interest in AI-assisted development tools and how they can be used responsibly to improve developer productivity and quality. • Experience contributing to technical documentation, development standards or process improvements. Responsibilities: • Design, build, test and maintain full-stack web applications. • Develop back-end services and APIs using C# and .NET. • Build and enhance responsive front-end functionality using Angular and TypeScript. • Work across both new product development and enhancements to established applications. • Collaborate with colleagues to understand requirements and deliver practical, maintainable solutions. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement and development catch-ups. • Carry out code reviews and contribute to high standards of code quality, security and maintainability. • Work closely with QA colleagues to support effective manual and automated testing practices. • Support releases, deployments and the ongoing improvement of development and DevOps processes. • Investigate and resolve technical issues across the application stack. • Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. • Develop an understanding of the products, users and commercial objectives behind the technology.
