Senior Design Engineer

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a leading geotechnical engineering contractor based in Melbourne, VIC . This is a great opportunity to work on major piling and ground improvement projects while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare and review geotechnical and structural designs. • Support tenders, estimates, and project delivery. • Carry out design analysis and numerical modelling. • Provide technical support to project teams. • Mentor and guide junior engineers. • Ensure designs meet Australian Standards and client requirements. • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS: • Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. • 7–10+ years of geotechnical design experience. • Strong background in piling, foundations, or ground improvement. • Experience using Plaxis, WALLAP, RAPT, ADSEC, or similar software. • Knowledge of Australian Standards. • Strong communication and leadership skills. • Professional Engineer status or ability to obtain registration in Australia is preferred.
