Software QA Engineer (Start in 2027)

Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Software QA Engineer to join their dynamic team: Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract Position: Software QA Engineer Location: Paya Lebar Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours Salary Package: Up to $6,900 + Bonus Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.

Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability. Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and smoke testing throughout the software development lifecycle. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and assisting users during testing.

Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects. Validate application releases and ensure quality standards are met before deployment. Support continuous testing within Agile development and CI/CD environments.

Job Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in software quality assurance with strong hands-on automation testing experience. Experience designing and maintaining QA automation frameworks. Proficient with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.

Experience performing API testing using tools such as Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or equivalent. Familiar with SQL for data validation and verification. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.

Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and Agile development practices. Knowledge of application security testing concepts such as authentication, authorisation, and input validation is an advantage. We are conducting early recruitment for an upcoming project.
