Hybrid Auckland New Zealand Port Melbourne, Victoria Australia Full time R49302 C. H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Manager - Regional Operations Oceania, responsible for leading a team to drive operational and financial reliability and improvement throughout a region.

The Senior Manager Regional Operations will work closely with global operations and training teams as well as all facets of the regional branch offices and corporate teams to ensure a strategic, uniform approach to all operational processes, implementations, metric and audit development, performance analysis and operational improvement.

**Responsibilities:** The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: **Strategy and Leadership:** + Develop direct reports in complex systems, analytics and change management best practices + Hold direct reports accountable to successful execution of assigned duties and goals + Collaborate with regional operational management to ensure a cohesive approach for process, performance, and analytics + Act as a resource for the region including branch leadership, regional operations peers, training leadership and direct reports + Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within the region and broader GF network + Identify and drive cost control initiatives + Support the personal/professional development for assigned team.

Coach and guide to improve performance and drive accountability. Provide timely feedback and problem-solving assistance via regular checkpoints and/or in response to situational needs.

Understand development needs and create opportunities for experiences that support development needs + Encourage employee feedback through formal and informal channels.

Acknowledge and take action on feedback to drive a trusting culture of open two-way communication, inclusivity and continuous improvement + Cascade communications on office, divisional and organizational initiatives to ensure employee's understanding and alignment + Employ strong change management tactics to drive desired behaviors and results both for direct and indirect reports **Quality Control:** + Develop structure to improve regional performance against uniform operational quality, efficiency and financial discipline + Construct appropriate regional operations structure to meet all operational uniformity and performance expectations + Collaborate globally to improve and make uniform modal SOPs and policies with Compliance, Training, and Operations teams + Responsible to establish and execute regional operations and financial process audits + Publish and share quality, efficiency, and financial discipline performance against goals to regional leadership **Quality Improvement:** + Identify and lead uniformity, quality, efficiency, and financial discipline improvement initiatives regionally and/or globally + Identify and collaborate to build or enhance operational and financial systems and analytics tools as needed + Communicate progress and performance of key initiatives to regional and global leadership + Identify and support training initiatives as needed + Develop, manage and deliver training curriculum (where a regional training team does not exist) or collaborate to improve training curriculum (where a regional training team exists) + Act as regional operations, financial and analytics systems and process expert + Collaborate with training and/or build and drive implementation and adoption initiatives for new process and system functionality inside their region **Quality Implementation:** + Support business implementation inside their region as needed and collaborate with other regions on global implementations as needed + Collaborate with commercial teams and branches to ensure customer SOPs are configurable to CHR standard operating procedures, leverage optimal processes and technologies and do not conflict with regional or company standards or policies **Required Qualifications:** Required: + High School diploma or GED + Minimum 7 years of industry experience or equivalent knowledge + Minimum 2 years of leading and managing teams + Strong modal product knowledge + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs + Strong Navisphere knowledge - including Financials + Willingness to travel 5-10% **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred: + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university + Ability to collaborate and align across functional and geographical boundaries to achieve results + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs + Advanced skills in process analysis + Data driven + Can understand and communicate complex processes to a varied audience in a simple way + Effective listener and communicator with strong technical writing skills + Detail oriented, Organized and Operationally focused + Proven ability to multi-task and keep stake holders informed + Strong change management skills + Effective listener and communicator with strong technical writing skills + Detail oriented, Organized and Operationally focused + Proven ability to multi-task and keep stake holders informed + Strong change management skills + Values a diverse and inclusive work environment **Benefits** At C.
