Zensar - Java Full Stack Developer

About the Role : We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Microservices, REST APIs, Angular, TypeScript, Oracle, and Kafka, along with a good understanding of application security and modern development practices. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. - Develop robust and reusable RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Microservices. - Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript. - Design and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data models using Oracle. - Implement asynchronous and event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka. - Design and document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger standards. - Implement application security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms. - Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code following industry best practices. - Use Git/GitHub for source-code management, branching, and collaborative development. - Leverage GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity while maintaining code quality and security. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective fixes. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions. - Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders. - Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements. - Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, coding standards, and engineering practices. Required Skills & Expertise : - Strong proficiency in Core Java. - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. - Strong experience developing REST APIs. - Good understanding of Spring Microservices architecture. - Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles. - Strong hands-on experience with Angular. - Good knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. - Experience developing responsive and reusable UI components. - Understanding of frontend-backend integration through REST APIs. - Strong experience with Oracle Database. - Good understanding of SQL, query optimization, database design, and data modelling. - Experience designing and documenting APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger. - Strong understanding of REST API standards, API versioning, error handling, and integration patterns. - Good understanding of application security concepts. - Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 and JWT. - Understanding of authentication, authorization, token management, and securing REST APIs. - Experience with Git branching, pull requests, merge strategies, and code reviews. - Exposure to GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted coding/development tools. - Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications. - Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture. - Experience with messaging/event-driven architectures. - Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices. - Good understanding of application performance optimization and production troubleshooting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - 7+ years of professional software development experience. - Strong backend expertise in Java + Spring Boot + Microservices. - Strong frontend expertise in Angular + TypeScript. - Good experience with Oracle, Kafka, REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, Git, and application security. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment. - Strong focus on code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
