Senior Mobile QA Engineer - Android & iOS

As a Senior Mobile QA Engineer - Android & iOS, you will: • Design and execute test strategies for mobile journeys, backend integrations, and end-to-end application flows. • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Espresso for Android and XCUITest for iOS. • Test native and hybrid mobile applications across Android and iOS devices and OS versions. • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Perform API and backend testing using tools such as Postman and WireMock. • Validate complex data flows and end-to-end integrations between mobile applications and backend systems. • Perform mobile application debugging using Proxyman and Charles Proxy. • Apply Quality Engineering practices including shift-left testing, monitoring, alerting, and quality metrics. • Validate security, regulatory, audit, and secure transaction requirements. • Collaborate with development, product, and technical teams to identify and resolve quality issues. What You Bring to the Table: • 6-8 years of overall professional experience in software testing and quality engineering. • Strong experience in mobile application testing and automation. • Hands-on experience with Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS). • Experience testing native and hybrid Android/iOS applications across multiple devices and OS versions. • Strong knowledge of API and backend testing using Postman and WireMock. • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline integration. • Strong understanding of complex backend data flows and end-to-end integrations. • Hands-on experience with Proxyman and Charles Proxy for debugging and network inspection. • Knowledge of Quality Engineering, shift-left testing, monitoring, alerting, and quality metrics. • Understanding of security, regulatory, audit, and secure transaction validation. You Should Possess the Ability to: • Develop effective automation strategies for complex mobile and backend scenarios. • Design and execute reliable end-to-end mobile test journeys. • Identify, troubleshoot, and analyse application, API, network, and integration issues. • Validate complex data flows across mobile, API, and backend systems. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing. • Work effectively across development, QA, DevOps, and business teams. • Apply a shift-left quality mindset throughout the software development lifecycle. • Analyse quality metrics and proactively identify potential risks. • Work independently while maintaining strong communication and documentation.
