Staff SQA Engineer

Staff SQA Engineer Req ID: 81873 Location: Apodaca, Other, Mexico We are looking for a Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the UI test strategy for ServAssure UI, our web-based network monitoring platform.

You will design, develop, and maintain automated UI test suites using Selenium WebDriver and BrowserStack, define regression and release-readiness criteria, execute manual tests and work closely with developers in an Agile, distributed team. You will mentor junior QA engineers and provide release quality reporting.

**Required Qualifications ** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. + 8+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and test automation.

+ Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites for complex web-based UI applications. + Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and BrowserStack. + Background in testing large-scale distributed enterprise or cloud-hosted systems.

+ Experience defining test plans, test cases, regression strategies, and release readiness criteria. + Experience with test management tools (e. g. , Zephyr, Jira).

+ Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with Angular-based UIs or other modern SPA applications + Solid understanding of REST APIs and experience with API/integration testing. + Experience preparing release quality reports and communicating test status, risk, and readiness to stakeholders.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug failures across UI, API, and environment layers. + Ability to mentor and guide junior QA engineers and collaborate effectively with developers. + Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in distributed teams.

+ Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. **Desired Qualifications** + Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or other browser-based automation frameworks. + Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , Jenkins). + Experience in performance, load, or security testing.

+ Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve QA workflows with strong verification practices. + Familiarity with Java. + Exposure to Telecom/Cable network management applications. + BDD experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, or similar). + Comfortable working in Linux environments.
