- Associate - Investment (Asset Management) Job Title: Associate - Investment (Asset Management) Department: Investment Management Location: Ahmedabad Experience: 8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Investment - Asset Management professional to support the Investment Management team across asset management, investment analysis, deal acquisition and portfolio-related activities. The candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals on evaluating acquisition opportunities, financial analysis, due diligence, investment materials, asset performance and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities: - Lead/support deal acquisition and investment evaluation from opportunity assessment through transaction closure. - Conduct detailed financial modelling, investment analysis and feasibility assessment for prospective acquisitions. - Support due diligence activities, including market, financial, commercial and asset-level analysis. - Prepare investment memorandums, presentations and analysis for senior management and the Investment Committee. - Conduct research and analysis of relevant markets and identify potential investment opportunities. - Manage and analyse the performance of existing assets, including operating performance, budgets and business plans. - Develop and review operating and capital budgets for assets under management and prospective investments. - Coordinate with external consultants/advisors for market studies, valuation, cost estimates, financial, tax and other due diligence requirements. - Prepare periodic reports and presentations for senior management, investors and other stakeholders. - Support strategic and analytical projects across the Investment Management function. Mandatory Candidate Requirements: - 6+ years of relevant post-qualification experience. - Asset Management background is mandatory. - Deal Acquisition / Investment Acquisition experience is mandatory. - Strong experience in Real Estate Investment / Asset Management / Private Equity / Investment Management. - Proven experience in financial modelling and investment analysis. - Strong understanding of the complete investment/acquisition lifecycle, including evaluation, due diligence and transaction execution. - Prior experience in managing or analysing real estate assets/portfolios will be strongly preferred. - Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word. - Strong analytical, commercial and financial acumen. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of Asset Management + Deal Acquisition + Investment Analysis experience. Candidates whose experience is limited only to property operations, leasing, sales or general real estate activities will not be considered.
