Job Description
Summary Benefits: Basic Up to $6000 5 Working Days, Office Hours Locations: Central MNC, Great Career Progression Safety Officer Responsibilities: Perform duties as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in accordance with MOM regulations and corporate safety requirements.
Ensure company operations comply with WSH regulations and corporate safety policies. Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety and sustainability programs. Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement risk control measures.
Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and incidents, and prepare investigation reports. Monitor and report safety performance to management. Organise and conduct safety training, meetings, and inspections. Participate in safety committees and audits to improve workplace safety standards.
Manage industrial hygiene monitoring (noise, fumes, dust exposure) and medical surveillance programs. Support fire safety management and emergency response programs. Manage contractor safety, visitor orientation, and compliance. Ensure proper documentation and update safety records, reports, and notice boards.
Handle facilities or building safety matters when required. Auditor Responsibilities: Conduct onsite management system audits according to assigned audit plans and applicable ISO standards. Review company documentation and records to assess compliance with management system requirements.
Conduct interviews, site observations and verification of operational practices. Assess compliance with applicable standards, procedures and regulatory requirements. Lead and coordinate audit team members, including allocation of audit responsibilities.
Identify and document non-conformities, observations and areas for improvement. Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports with supporting evidence and findings.
