Your opportunity + Responsible for growing Janus Henderson's equity strategies through proactive engagement with clients, prospects, and sales teams + Responsible for driving the commercial success of covered products through business plan ownership, completion and implementation + Work closely with the CPM leadership to develop, articulate, and communicate longer-term business plan goals and targets to internal stakeholders + Represent and advocate for the Portfolio Managers both within the organisation and with the external client base; display expertise in articulating team philosophy, process, performance/attribution and portfolio positioning to internal and external clients + Participate in regular investment discussions with portfolio managers and analysts.

+ Engage with Portfolio Managers to ensure that investment strategy aligns with client expectations and guidelines across market environments to provide excellent client experience + Drive distribution strategy to support new business and asset retention efforts with key accounts; activities will include internal strategy discussions, pro-active sales engagement, final RFP review for custom or large opportunities, PR + Provide investment voice in the product messaging, marketing strategy, and development of collateral material + Represent Janus Henderson Investors (JHI) across the industry, building our reputation and brand through participation in client conferences and investment panels + Engage with product development on future strategy of product set; including competitor analysis, fees and positioning + Assist in client prospecting across all geographies and Distribution channels where necessary + Carry out other duties as assigned What to expect when you join our firm + Hybrid working and reasonable accommodations + Generous Holiday policies + Excellent Health and Wellbeing benefits including corporate membership to ClassPass + Paid volunteer time to step away from your desk and into the community + Support to grow through professional development courses, tuition/qualification reimbursement and more + All-inclusive approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion + Maternal/paternal leave benefits and family services + Complimentary subscription to Headspace - the mindfulness app + All employee events including networking opportunities and social activities + Lunch allowance for use within our subsidized onsite canteen Must have skills + Degree in a relevant subject such as finance, business, economics or equivalent work experience required + 10+ years equity or fixed income investment experience as a client portfolio manager, investment director, research analyst, portfolio manager, strategist, or equivalent + Extensive knowledge of relevant sector/product/instruments for the role + Strong knowledge of macro and market trends with the ability to represent strategy views + Ability to understand data related to portfolio attribution, contribution and risk measures + Strong commercial instincts, executive presence, presentation skills, and ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders + Client Skills - able to write and report for a variety of audiences, adapting key messages by client type, and presenting and communicating with clients clearly and confidently + Track record of partnering effectively with sales, product, portfolio management, marketing, and leadership teams to drive business outcomes + Agility - able to respond effectively to changing environments, and proactively find ways to provide innovative solutions for clients and teams + Teamwork - ability to work cooperatively within a team environment + Travel as needed + Data interpretation from institutional sources including: Bloomberg, FactSet, Wilshire, Zephyr, Investor Force-PSN, Callan PEP software, etc.

Nice to have skills + Advanced degree or CFA Charter Holder preferred Investment areas + Has responsibility for supporting portfolios within Equities Supervisory responsibilities + No Potential for growth + Mentoring + Leadership development programs + Regular training + Career development services + Continuing education courses You will be expected to understand the regulatory obligations of the firm, and abide by the regulated entity requirements and JHI policies applicable for your role.
