Department Overview To encapsulate the strategic role of Bid and Quote for your essay, the key point is that the function serves as the operational backbone and commercial conscience of the sales organization. Its responsibilities—encompassing rigorous Business Forecasting (CORE, COMMITS, LRP), deep Data Analytics, and meticulous Pipeline Management—ensure that sales efforts are not only visible but also strategically aligned with corporate objectives. By managing Pricing and P&L, Bid and Quote actively balances market competitiveness with profitability. Ultimately, the function’s mandate for Collaboration makes it the critical integrator, translating strategic goals into measurable, profitable execution and thereby achieving true operational excellence across the entire commercial lifecycle. Job Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Intern to join our team at Motorola Solutions in Singapore. This is can be a full-time for 6 months or part-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in business and systems analysis within the Information & Communication Technology sector. As an Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to real projects whilst developing your technical and analytical skills. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates looking to launch their career in ICT and gain valuable industry experience. Key responsibilities • Support business and systems analysts in gathering, documenting and analysing business requirements from stakeholders • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, process flows and system specifications • Conduct research on industry trends, technologies and best practices relevant to current projects • Help test systems and identify issues, documenting findings in a clear and organised manner • Support the development of presentations and reports for stakeholder communication • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how different systems and processes integrate • Assist with data analysis and the creation of dashboards or reports as required Basic Requirements What we're looking for • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically about complex issues • Ideally experience working with AI • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • Keen attention to detail and organisational skills • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment • Eagerness to learn new technologies and industry practices • Preferred experience: familiarity with database concepts, SQL, Python, Google App Script or any business analysis tools • Preferred experience: previous internship or work experience in an IT or business analysis role Travel Requirements None Relocation Provided None Position Type Intern Referral Payment Plan Yes EEO Statement Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
