Overnight Remote Staff Pharmacist Location : Remote, anywhere within the US Schedule : 7 on/7 off Licensure Requirements : Active IL, NE, HI, IA, CA pharmacist license required.

About the Role

Join our telepharmacy team as a Remote Staff Pharmacist, supporting multiple hospitals across several states. You’ll leverage technology and clinical expertise to verify medication orders, support care teams, and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care from a fully remote environment.

What You’ll Do Telepharmacy Services Complete remote order entry, order verification, and drug verification. Transitions of care medication reconciliation. Navigate multiple pharmacy information systems (PIS). Clinical Support Provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to providers.

Assess medication appropriateness, dosing (including renal/hepatic adjustments), interactions, and compatibilities. Support specialized populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnant/nursing patients, HIV, and those with renal/hepatic impairment.

Maintain knowledge of IV therapies, TPN, cardiac/narcotic drips, IV antibiotics, chemotherapy, and more. Operational Excellence Document interventions and clinical actions accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with physicians and nurses. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, pharmacy laws, and client policies.

Technical & Professional Skills Work across VPNs, automation systems, and multiple PIS platforms. Use applications such as Google Suite/Microsoft Office and Snagit. Maintain required licenses, credentials, and system access. Training & Performance Participate in ongoing training (clinical, PIS, and policy updates).

Qualifications

Bachelors in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred Active and in good standing IL or CA state pharmacist license required Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (IA, NE, HI) Strong clinical knowledge and comfort worki
