Assistant Human Resources Manager

The Company A well-established company in the engineering and manufacturing industry is currently seeking an Assistant HR Manager to join their dynamic team. The Role This role is responsible for partnering with managers and business stakeholders across Singapore and the region to provide practical HR advice and support on employee matters, workforce priorities, organizational needs, performance management and organizational changes. Support end-to-end talent attraction and recruitment activities, as well as onboarding, employee engagement, employer branding, learning and organizational development initiatives. Manage key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers and employee movements, HR records and documentation, and offboarding, ensuring processes and data are accurate, timely, compliant and aligned with company policies and governance requirements. Drive assigned performance-management activities, including annual performance cycles, goal setting, performance reviews, calibration and related communications, while supporting managers and employees on performance and development matters. Your Profile The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline, with 7 to 10 years of broad-based HR generalist experience, preferably gained within a multinational, regional or matrix organization. Candidates should demonstrate solid hands-on experience across multiple HR areas, including employee lifecycle management, HR operations, employee relations, performance management, HR policies, projects, learning and development, talent or workforce planning. Regional HR experience across Asia Pacific will be an advantage, together with good working knowledge of Singapore employment practices and HR governance requirements.
