Senior Business Analyst | Operational Risk Data & Reporting

About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the design and delivery of a target-state data architecture supporting Operational Risk and Resilience reporting. Working across business, risk, data and technology teams, you will drive the analysis required to establish trusted data sources, define data models, improve reporting capabilities, and support the implementation of a future-state operating model. This is an excellent opportunity for a BA with strong data and risk experience to work on a high-profile transformation program. Key responsibilities • Analyse and document current-state operational risk and reporting data landscapes • Define target-state data models, information flows and reporting requirements • Identify and prioritise data, reporting and governance gaps • Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders across risk, business and technology • Develop implementation roadmaps and support delivery into production • Ensure alignment between business requirements, reporting outcomes and enabling technology About you • Extensive Business Analysis experience within complex, data-driven environments • Strong understanding of Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Controls, Incidents and Obligations • Knowledge of data architecture concepts including data modelling, lineage and source-to-target mapping • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills • Ability to work with ambiguity and drive outcomes across multiple teams • Desirable: Banking or financial services experience • Desirable: Regulatory or remediation program delivery • Desirable: Knowledge of APRA CPS 230 and data risk frameworks • Desirable: Exposure to data governance, risk management and reporting platforms Benefits • Opportunity to work on a major transformation program • High-profile stakeholder exposure • Collaborative and fast-paced environment • Competitive daily rate
