3 Senior Power Platform Software Engineer (Developer)

Location: Canberra ACT (Hybrid) Security Clearance: Must have Baseline clearance About the Role The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is seeking experienced Senior Power Platform Software Engineers to join the myAMSA program, a strategic initiative delivering digital-first maritime regulatory services to industry and the Australian community. The successful candidate will work within a small, high-performing multidisciplinary team responsible for enhancing and extending the myAMSA portal. The role requires strong technical expertise across Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure integration technologies, and modern web application development, combined with excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative digital transformation initiatives that improve customer experience, streamline regulatory processes, and enhance AMSA's digital service capability. Key Responsibilities Power Platform Development • Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages. • Develop secure, scalable, and reusable Power Platform components. • Support ongoing enhancements to the myAMSA portal and associated services. • Implement enterprise-grade business applications and digital services. Full Stack Development • Develop and maintain front-end solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web frameworks such as Vue.js. • Build and maintain APIs and backend services using C# and .NET technologies. • Develop and optimise SQL queries and database solutions. • Integrate user interfaces with backend systems and services. Azure Integration & Automation • Implement integrations using: • Azure API Management (APIM) • Azure Functions • Logic Apps • Power Automate • Develop secure integrations with internal and external systems. • Support cloud-native architecture and service integration patterns. DevOps & Delivery • Work within established solution architectures and development standards. • Manage source code using Azure DevOps and Git repositories. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines. • Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities. • Contribute to technical design documentation and solution architecture. Stakeholder Engagement • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, testers, and project teams. • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
