Job Description: Manager - Finance as a Service Qualification: - CA or other accounting graduate/postgraduate with minimum 12 years of Record to report experience. - Candidate should have good knowledge of accounting concepts. - Advanced written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical skills to interpret the data and engagement requirements. - Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) - Experience with automated accounting systems (i.e. Intacct, NetSuite, Blackline, Bill.com, Tally) - Blackline experience is preferred Responsibilities: - Key point of contact for our clients Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash and Month End Close cycles - Lead, manage and coach client services representatives and associates - Review monthly journal entries prepared by support staff for prepaid expenses, fixed asset, accrued expenses, payroll, and / or inventory transactions, as applicable, in an accurate and timely manner - Understands the purpose of reconciliations. Approves bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations - Prepare/Review client's monthly financial statements including month over month variance analysis and / or actual to budget analysis - Analyse and interpret financial information for client management and provide actionable insight and decision support - Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the clients' monthly operations make suggestions for process improvements - Define and document repeatable methodologies with appropriate tools and templates that can be leveraged for future projects. - Understand our technology stack and identify additional add-on processes, systems, modules, and integrations that can drive month end close efficiencies. - Team handling experience is a must. - Strong knowledge and experience in transitioning the process.
