Scrum Master - Agile Delivery - IT

JD - Scrum Master Experience: 8 - 10 Years Work Mode: On-site Location: Bangalore Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery and support teams in following Scrum practices and principles. The role will focus on facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, supporting team collaboration, tracking delivery progress, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective and predictable project delivery. Must-Have Skills: - 8 - 10 years of experience in Agile project delivery, with strong experience as a Scrum Master. - Strong understanding of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, and methodologies. - Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives. - Strong experience in identifying and removing team impediments and blockers. - Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams. - Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience tracking sprint progress, delivery commitments, and team performance. - Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. - Ability to coach teams on Agile practices and continuous improvement. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience working on large-scale or enterprise Agile projects. - Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. - Experience working with multiple Scrum teams or in a scaled Agile environment. - Experience supporting Agile transformation and process improvement initiatives. - Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure they are conducted effectively and consistently. - Support the team in planning and delivering Sprint commitments. - Identify, track, and remove impediments that may affect team productivity or delivery. - Coach team members and stakeholders on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and continuous improvement. - Monitor sprint progress, identify delivery risks, and facilitate timely resolution of issues. - Promote effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams. - Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog readiness and prioritization. - Facilitate Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives and ensure actionable improvement items are tracked. - Track and communicate Agile delivery metrics and team progress to relevant stakeholders. - Encourage continuous improvement in team processes, productivity, and delivery practices. - Support coordination across teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of project objectives. Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent is preferred.
