Your passion is recognized. The Role The Solutions Engineer (SE) acts as the technical bridge between Sales and customers during the pre-sales process. You will take ownership of the primary technical relationship, guiding customers through evaluation, design, and validation of Trend AI solutions. This role requires strong technical depth, customer-facing confidence, and the ability to operate effectively in complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical expertise in pre-sales engagements • Design and deliver Proof of Concepts (POCs) • Support customers in solution planning and implementation • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across security and network environments • Collaborate closely with Sales, Channel, and Specialist teams • Share customer feedback and feature requests with Product Management • Participate in beta programs and stay current with product innovation • Deliver customer presentations, workshops, and technical training • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and SE readiness initiatives • Travel regionally (approximately 30–35%) as required Experience & Qualifications We welcome both developing and experienced professionals. Required: • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, solutions engineering, or professional services • Experience with enterprise security technologies (firewalls, endpoint security, IDS/IPS, email/web security) • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills Preferred: • SOC or Incident Response experience • Certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, or AWS certifications • Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Bash) You Bring • Technical curiosity and a continuous learning mindset • A strong work ethic and accountability • The ability to engage confidently with technical and executive stakeholders • A collaborative, team-oriented approach • A passion for cybersecurity At Trend Micro, we embrace change, empower people, and encourage innovation in a connected world.
