**Job Summary** This job ensures efficient procurement of materials and services, maintaining supplier relationships and inventory for company projects. It involves resolving procurement issues and managing communications for specific product lines. The role also includes mentoring less experienced team members.

**Job Description** **Responsibilities:** + Coordinating procurement of capital materials for engineering, maintenance, installations, and office supplies + Resolving invoice discrepancies, obtaining PODs, and addressing receiving issues with suppliers + Informing internal customers about product changes, including recalls and discontinuations + Leading communications for material issues related to specific product lines + Reviewing supplier performance and business plans to meet material requirements + Assessing supplier capabilities to ensure adherence to quality and performance standards + Planning inventory and materials in collaboration with planning coordinators and managers + Initiating RFQs and RFPs with suppliers to achieve cost savings and diversify vendor base + Communicating with vendors about long-term material needs for project support + Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
