AWS DevOps specialist - Full remote - in USD

Category: IT Services Location: For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE AWS DevOps specialist with a history of working in an agile environment.

Ideally, the applicant should have AWS experience in the Build, Release processes, Continuous Integration (CI) , Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) for the automated deployment of Microservices components using Docker Containers, AWS services and other technologies.

Candidates need to be able to work +6 hours per day in the normal office hours of New York, US. Example 9AM NY time equals 7:30PM.

Tasks and responsibilities: Assist in migration of websites to AWS; Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system; Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems; Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems; System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms; Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance; Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions; Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements; Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform; Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes; Perform other duties as may be reasonably required and in line with the incumbent’s scope of services above; Profile: Bachelor or Master degree; +3 years of hands-on experience supporting application build and deployment in a AWS Cloud environment; Experience and deep understanding of core DevOps practices (Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Monitoring); Experience and deep understanding of DevOps integration with automated testing and/or automation deployment verification; E
