Sr Devops Engineer

. Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) We’re interested in hearing from people who have: • Knowledge of cloud technologies and services. Proficiency in coding and scripting. Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. • Strong grasp of automation tools. Automating security controls, data protection, and compliance. • Deep understanding of secure coding principles. Implementing security measures in the development process. • Engaging in and improving the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement. • Supporting services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews. • Maintaining services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. • Experience with systems and IT operations. • Practicing incident response and blameless postmortems Technical skills • Experience in network and solution design in AWS components • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration (e.g., filesystems, system calls) or networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, network topologies, and hardware). • Comprehensive knowledge regarding to: AWS VPC, AWS firewall, AWS WAF, Kong API, AWS EC2, AWS ALB, AWS S3, AWS PrivateLink, AWS NLB • Setting up CI/CD pipelines (Github Action, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline) and version control (Git) • Design and build observability of the platform components using Prometheus, Grafana • Experience in provisioning, operations, and management of cloud / SaaS environments. • Experience in creation of highly automated infrastructures. • Expertise in designing, analysing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. • Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions. • Identify for architecture and process improvements. • Experience in code development in at least one high-level programming languages such as Java, Python, .Net would be advantageous. • Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework as well as AWS networking and security services • Cloud Certifications - AWS When you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the Tech Aalto Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at Tech Aalto’s website ( https://www.techaalto.com/privacy/) Confidentiality is assured, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews.
