Job Title: Sr. Azure Data Engineer Experience: 8+ yrs. Job Location: Bangalore / Chennai Position ID: J0826-0834 Work Type: Hybrid Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Must-Have Skills: 1. Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Blob Storage for seamless data integration and management. 2. Good knowledge in Python and Pyspark for backend ETL processes and data manipulation, which will enable effective collaboration with the ETL teams. 3. Strong skills in data modeling, integrating data from SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, SharePoint, and SSAS. 4. In-depth understanding of dimensional modeling, including star schema and snowflake schema. 5. Proficiency in creating complex relationships and working with large datasets. Ability to ensure efficient integration of data from multiple sources. 6. Ability to provide actionable strategic recommendations based on data analysis and identify the root causes of issues (whether related to data extraction, transformation, model design, or visualization). 7. Should have experience in performing role of operational lead and client interactions to manage quality of deliverables 8. Should have experience in managing team and work with them for guiding them in tackling challenges administratively 9. Should be good in excel and in preparing power point presentations Good-to-Have Skills: 1. Good knowledge in ETL processes, data cleansing, and optimizing large datasets to improve performance and data quality. 2. Familiarity with integrating advanced analytics or predictive models into Power BI reports using external tools or services.
