: L3 Network Engineer – Strategy & Technical Leadership Note: Only candidates with an immediate to 30-day notice period will be considered for this position. Location: Navi Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time Role Summary We are seeking an expert-level L3 Network Engineer to provide high-level technical oversight, lead complex migration strategies, and serve as the final escalation point for critical network incidents. In this role, you will combine strategic architectural vision with hands-on technical execution to drive large-scale deployments and ensure maximum network resilience. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Leadership: • Lead large-scale migration projects and complex deployments. • Act as the primary technical authority during critical cutover windows. • Technical Oversight & Maintenance Windows (MW): • Provide expert on-call support during scheduled night-time maintenance windows. • Review, validate, and approve Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for high-risk activities. • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Optimization: • Conduct deep-dive RCAs for complex network outages. • Design and implement long-term preventive measures to enhance stability. • Automation & Mentorship: • Develop and maintain Python and Ansible scripts to automate deployment tasks and configuration audits. • Mentor L2 engineers on advanced routing protocols, network design, and complex troubleshooting techniques. Required Skills & Experience • Experience: 6–10 years of hands-on experience working in large-scale service provider environments. • Core Technical Competencies: • Expert-level knowledge of MPLS-TE (Multi-Protocol Label Switching Traffic Engineering). • Deep expertise in Segment Routing . • Advanced mastery of high-availability network design principles. • Competencies & Mindset: Strong project-management mindset with proven capability to lead cross-functional teams during high-stakes, night-time deployments.
