Then read on. About the Role This role is responsible for performing timely and accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, investigating and resolving reconciling items. Bank Reconciliation Operations • Perform periodic bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts across various entities and currencies. • Investigate and analyse reconciliation breaks, unmatched transactions, and outstanding items. • Prepare journal entries related to reconciling items where required. • Monitor aging items and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with relevant stakeholders. • Validate and reconcile bank statements against general ledger balances. Month-End & Reporting Support • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. • Assist in balance sheet account reviews Process Improvement • Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes and improve efficiency. • Support automation initiatives and system enhancements related to bank reconciliation activities. • Participate in process documentation, standardisation, and continuous improvement projects.
