Software Engineer

As part of our App Development team, you’ll help shape mobile experiences used at national scale while growing your skills across modern engineering practices, cloud technologies and digital products. This role exists to strengthen our mobile capability and support ongoing innovation, giving you the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to products that reach millions of customers. Your role, your impact Reporting to a Software Engineering leader, you’ll work closely with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable mobile solutions. Your contribution will help enhance customer experiences while supporting the stability and evolution of our technology platforms. • Deliver mobile app enhancements and resolve production issues • Troubleshoot technical challenges with a practical engineering mindset • Collaborate in workshops, stand-ups and team retrospectives • Support cloud-based solutions, deployments and release activities • Contribute to modernisation initiatives across digital platforms • Partner with experienced engineers to improve software quality What you'll need to succeed You’re curious, collaborative and motivated to keep learning. You enjoy solving problems, working with others and building technology that creates a positive customer experience. • Experience in mobile development using React Native or Flutter • Experience developing solutions within cloud environments • Exposure to scripting, infrastructure automation and continuous delivery • General programming capability across modern development technologies • Ability to work independently and contribute within teams • Enthusiasm for learning, problem solving and continuous improvement Perks that make a difference We know that when we belong, we thrive.
