DTICI_ Job Title - Senior SAP Technical Architect – FIORI with BTP _T6

Description Technical key role for stable, performant planning processes. Work with large data volumes and modern SAP technology (S/4HANA, SAP AIF), with direct influence on the reliability of the end-to-end planning chain. • Develop and extend SAP functionality in the planning environment (ABAP / ABAP OO) • Build and maintain interfaces between planning systems and the SAP core (IDoc, RFC, OData, CIF, APIs) including SAP AIF monitoring • Configure SAP PP / PP-DS or S/4HANA planning processes • Perform error analysis, debugging and performance optimization on large data volumes • Create technical documentation and support testing and go-live Responsibilities Responsibilities : • Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest technological solutions • Create requirement specifications from business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements • Design solutions for SAP UX (Fiori and SAPUI5) and S/4HANA • Create detailed solution documentation and presentations • Closely work with infrastructure and functional teams • Analyze and recommend technologies to enhance current systems and support overall business goals • Carry strong interpersonal skills, highly adept at facilitating discussions and translating business requirements into effective IT solutions • Leverage standard processes and finding innovative solutions for timely execution within the agreed timelines Qualifications SAP Fiori Technical Skills must have: • Certified in SAP Fiori Application Development • Experience developing, deploying and configuring applications on Cloud Foundry • Experience creating and configuring launch pad sites using BTP Launchpad Service. • Knowledge of BTP services like workflow management, HANA cloud, Document Service..etc, configuring destinations between cloud and on-premise systems, and using them in applications • Experienced in Fiori Design patterns, UI and adaptive display principles, HTML5 & CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, OData, CDS Views, REST APIs • Proven experience in extending standard SAP Fiori applications. • Support development of side-by-side extensions for S/4HANA and other ERP systems. • Functional knowledge of MM, SD, eWM • Product Exposure: SAP ECC, SRM, S4HANA, FIORI/UI5 • Experience in development of solutions related to SRM, MM, Sourcing & Procurement and FI-CO modules • Good experience in OData services development, extension and consumption • Should have worked in multiple scenarios like Embedded Gateway, Gateway Hub and FIORI on the cloud. • Expert in the primary development platform IDEs such as SAP WebIDE, SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), VS Code, Eclipse..etc • Proficient in setting up Fiori Launchpad involving tile, catalog and group configurations • Strong understanding of OOP and MVC design paradigm • Deep understanding of the SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA technology and architecture • Ability to prioritize, document, organize & follow-up • Able to define the architecture of the solution through architectural concept documents, ensure technical feasibility, evaluate architecture risks, and estimate efforts BTP Exposure: • Experience with SAP Build Work Zone, including website design, roles assignment, and the configuration of catalogs, spaces, pages, and collaborative workspaces • Must be able to design corporate themes within SAP Build Work Zone, ensuring visual consistency, optimized user experience. • Expertise in automating application deployments using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Familiarity with setting up and configuring the SAP Cloud Transport Management service (TMS), including node creation, system integration, and orchestrating application movements across landscapes • Good to have SAP Build Code to design, build, extend, generative AI and modern development capabilities • Should have experience in Side-by-Side extension & build custom applications on SAP BTP by following SAP's Clean Core approach. • Must have CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) knowledge to ensure modern SAP BTP cloud-centric solutions. • Good to have RAP (Rest full Application programming model) knowledge, CDS Views & annotations creation. • Must expertise in node.js or java basics to build cloud native applications on SAP BTP • Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector, Destination services, and S/4HANA connectivity. • Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) architectures within SAP BTP, with hands-on expertise implementing secure application routing, user authentication, and authorization using XSUAA and SAP Cloud Identity Services • Good to have integration & work with code review tools like sonar qube or ESLint tools to ensure bug free applications • Proven expertise in version control management using cloud Git providers (GitHub), complex merge conflict resolution. pull request workflows, conduct code reviews, and collaborate effectively across distributed Git branches. • Follow agile development processes, conduct unit/integration testing & documentation Good-to-Have: • Good understanding of Gateway configuration, provisioning security roles and authorizations for SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 apps • Experience in creating custom UI5 controls, Views, Navigation properties etc. Experience & Qualification • 10-12 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development and 6+ years of experience in FIORI, ideally in a planning / logistics environment • Experience in interface and data integration • Domain knowledge in production / supply-chain planning is an advantage • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field (B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. or equivalent) • Language Requirements • English – fluent written and verbal
