WHO YOU ARE • You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related major at an accredited college/university with an expected graduation date of June 2027 • You have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher • You have good verbal and written communication skills • You are highly motivated and tenacious • You have proven analytical and problem-solving skills through course work, projects, and or previous internship experience • Experience learning programming languages and technology tools (examples include Java, Python, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Github) WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Technology Analyst at Northern Trust, you will have the opportunity to spend 27 months working with three different teams contributing to meaningful projects, developing relevant skills to solidify the foundation for your career while joining our inclusive and relational culture. A recruiter will work with you to determine the best organizational placement given your interests, skill set and relevant experience. Technology Analysts are fully integrated into engineering and technology teams, contributing to real financial solutions. Analysts gain an inside look into the innovative technologies, practices, and business solutions that power a frontrunner in financial services. Analyst Development Program: • Rotate through 3 different Technology teams aligned to Data Science or Analytics • 9 months each team • 27 months total – Completing October 2029 • Located in Chicago, IL Program Opportunities: • Two program mentors • Monthly speaker series • Learning & Development sessions • Career Development opportunities • Comprehensive orientation • Social and Volunteer Events • Access to ADP Alumni Network • Exposure to senior leadership What You ’ll Gain: • Gain hands-on experience transforming data into actionable insights while working alongside experienced data professionals, developing skills in data engineering, analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence • Contribute to real-world projects involving data pipelines, business intelligence dashboards, AI-driven solutions, and data-driven research using modern technologies, while building a strong foundation in data architecture, governance, data quality, and scalable decision-making practices Every role in technology regardless of discipline is likely to involve: • Some automation via coding, simple OS shell scripting, low code technology platform etc. • The use or development of some generative AI capabilities SAMPLE FUTURE CAREER PATHS/TRACKS: • Data Scientist • Data Engineer • Analytics Specialist Salary Range: Salary is $90,000 USD per year. Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
