: Civil Engineer trainee/Jr Civil Engineer Company: Onycon Infrastructure Location: Andheri West, Mumbai Industry: Infrastructure / Heavy Civil Construction Experience: Freshers / 0-2 Years Employment: Full-Time, Permanent Work Mode: Work from Office About the Role Onycon Infrastructure is Urgently Hiring Civil Engineer trainee/Jr.Civil Engineer's (Freshers & 1 month -2 years in a construction background) to work on infrastructure projects. The role will provide hands-on exposure to Project Planning, Execution Monitoring, Quantity Measurement, Billing, Material Reconciliation, and Project Documentation. Opportunity for Fresher as well as Candidates working in a Constrcution firm from 1month-2 YRS. Freshers will be provided initial training and guidance. Applicant's residing in Mumbai/ Mumbai Suburban should only apply for this job. Key Responsibilities 1. Planning • Understand drawings, BOQ, specifications, and work scope. • Assist in preparing work plans, schedules, and activity targets. • Track planned quantities and project milestones. 2. Execution Monitoring • Monitor actual work progress against the plan. • Collect daily/weekly progress data from site teams. • Track quantities completed and pending activities. • Report delays, variations, and execution issues. 3. Measurement & Quantity • Measure work executed at site using drawings and actual site data. • Prepare measurement sheets and quantity statements. • Assist in joint measurements with client/consultant. • Verify subcontractor measurements. 4. Client Billing • Assist in preparing Client RA Bills. • Calculate bill quantities based on approved measurements and BOQ. • Check quantities, rates, and supporting documents. • Follow up for bill submission and certification. 5. Subcontractor Billing • Check subcontractor bills against actual work completed. • Verify quantities, rates, and work-order conditions. • Prepare and process subcontractor bills. • Resolve quantity/billing discrepancies with site teams. 6. Material Reconciliation • Track major materials such as steel, cement, concrete, and aggregates. • Prepare monthly material reconciliation statements Requirements: Fresher Civil Engineering graduates as well as Candidates working in construction firm form 1month - 2 YRS Applicant's residing in Mumbai should only apply for this opening Applicant's staying in Mumbai/Mumbai Suburban or nearby area are prefered Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QS Software like (AutoCAD, MS Projects, etc).
