Why Join As a Finance Operations Analyst at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems and processes. You'll have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that drive efficiency and effectiveness. How you succeed To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a deep understanding of financial operations and a keen eye for detail. You'll work closely with various teams to identify and resolve issues, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in driving success in this role. What you do • Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting activities, ensuring Trial Balances are closed accurately and within established timelines. • Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations within specified timelines, liaising with stakeholders to investigate and resolve outstanding items. • Maintain Chart of Accounts segments, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with governance requirements. • Administer and maintain departmental user access across financial systems, ensuring appropriate access rights and compliance with internal controls. • Identify and resolve issues arising from day-to-day operations, and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls. • Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to support seamless and effective operations. • Support process improvement initiatives through the review and enhancement of financial processes, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and operational efficiency. Who you are • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in finance operations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively • Experience with financial systems and processes, including accounting and reporting • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including finance, risk, and compliance teams • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines What we offer: Competitive base salary.
