Sunware Technologies - Senior Product Owner - Cards & Payment Domain

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Senior Specialist - Product Owner to drive the development of payment network products and platform capabilities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the Cards & Payments domain, payment messaging standards, API-based integrations, and a passion for leveraging AI/GenAI technologies to drive product innovation. Key Responsibilities : - Define technical requirements using ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 messaging standards. - Drive product strategy across authorization, clearing, settlement, and payment network processing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop API-first payment solutions. - Translate payment message specifications into scalable REST API service definitions. - Work with REST APIs, JSON/XML payloads, authentication mechanisms, and integration frameworks. - Leverage AI/GenAI technologies to improve product development, automation, and engineering efficiency. - Manage product releases and support successful feature launches. - Present product strategies, proposals, and progress updates to key stakeholders. Required Skills : - 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, or Product Owner roles. - Strong experience in the Cards & Payments domain. - Hands-on knowledge of ISO 8583 transaction flows and messaging standards. - Good understanding of authorization, clearing, settlement, and payment network processing. - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to independently manage complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills : - Knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and specification management. - Experience with REST APIs, API-first design, JSON/XML payloads, and service integrations. - Basic SQL and Python skills. - Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI automation, or AI-assisted development tools. - Experience applying AI technologies to solve business or engineering challenges. - Passion for technology, payments, digital commerce, and innovation. Qualification : - Bachelor's degree or master's degree in relevant field.
