Lead the delivery of a large-scale infrastructure and data centre programme Tō kamupene hou | Your new company This is fantastic opportunity to join a prominent New Zealand government agency delivering a critical piece of technology change across its ICT infrastructure environment. With a strong national footprint and essential services to support, this is a role where safe, well-managed delivery genuinely matters. Tō tūranga hou | Your new role As Technical Delivery Manager, you will lead the delivery of a major infrastructure and data centre initiative over a two-year fixed term. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role, working closely with internal ICT teams, architects, vendors and business stakeholders. • Lead the planning and delivery of complex infrastructure change. • Coordinate technical workstreams across data centres, networks, cloud, servers, storage and database environments. • Manage delivery plans, risks, dependencies, budgets and governance reporting. • Oversee implementation, transition and operational readiness activities. • Work with vendors and delivery partners to keep outcomes on track. Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed • Proven experience leading complex enterprise IT infrastructure projects across database environments. • Strong technical understanding of enterprise data centre environments, hybrid cloud, cloud interconnect technologies, WAN, LAN, wireless and network security. • Confidence working across structured cabling, physical IT infrastructure, hyper-converged platforms, compute, virtualisation and server technologies. • Experience coordinating technical workstreams and keeping delivery on track across internal ICT teams, architects, engineers, vendors and delivery partners. • Able to manage delivery plans, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, budgets, governance reporting and executive-level updates. • Project management, Information Technology and Agile Delivery certifications are highly desirable.
