AI Tech Lead

We are looking for an experienced **AI Tech Lead*to lead our AI team in designing, developing, and deploying artificial intelligence solutions. The AI Tech Lead will play a key role in defining technical strategies, overseeing complex AI projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions. Technical Leadership in AI Service Integration: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable AI solutions. Define and implement best practices in AI development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data engineering, and software development, to align AI solutions with business goals. Conduct research and stay up to date on AI advancements to integrate the latest techniques and tools. Drive innovation in areas like natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. Mentor and guide junior AI developers and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Communicate complex AI concepts to stakeholders and offer actionable insights based on data-driven analysis. Backend Development & AI Consumption: Leverage cloud platforms to implement AI capabilities, including NLP, computer vision, and generative AI (e.g., text generation, and image creation). Manage API configurations, data processing, and permissions to enable efficient and secure AI service consumption. System Optimization & Performance Tuning: Ensure backend infrastructure is optimized for the efficient processing of AI workloads, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Troubleshoot, monitor and improve system performance, working to minimize latency and maximize uptime. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with data scientists, front-end developers, and product teams to ensure AI solutions are effectively integrated and aligned with ness goals. Document technical processes, API specifications, and architectural decisions to support maintainability and scalability. Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or similar. Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and generative AI models. In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and data management for AI workflows. Preferred Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion. Experience with NLP, computer vision, and generative AI models (e.g., GPT, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion). Soft Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on team development and growth. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and innovate. Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams (data scientists, product managers, frontend/back-end engineers) to integrate AI solutions effectively. Document technical details, API integrations, and implementation guides for AI services and bots. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in AI development, with a strong focus on consuming cloud-based AI services with backend experience. Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services. Experience with bot frameworks like Microsoft Bot Framework, Google Dialogflow, or Rasa. Strong understanding of backend technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js) for AI and bot integrations and consumption. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on user experience and performance. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON. Knowledge of DevOps practices for AI solutions, including CI/CD, version control, and containerization (Docker). Experience with NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK) and chatbot tools (e.g., Botpress).
