Job Description

As the Senior Lifecycle Portfolio Manager, you will help Resmed unlock greater value from an established global portfolio of approximately 22 mask products already supporting people across multiple markets. Based in Sydney, you will focus on the in-market life of our products, using financial, product, market, and customer insights to identify opportunities across pricing, portfolio positioning, product tiering, promotions, and transitions. You will turn complex information into clear commercial choices, then work with global and regional partners to put those choices into action. This is not a traditional concept-to-launch product management role. It is an opportunity to create greater structure around portfolio decisions, improve commercial performance, and help our in-market products continue delivering meaningful value for customers, patients, and the business. What You'll Do • Develop a deep understanding of Resmed’s existing global masks portfolio and its performance across regions. • Analyse financial, product, market, and qualitative data to identify commercial opportunities and portfolio risks. • Shape portfolio strategies covering pricing, price elasticity, product tiering, discounting, promotions, positioning, and regional activation. • Lead cross-functional initiatives from initial insight through to implementation and demonstrated value. • Improve visibility into portfolio health, including underperformance, over-investment, and increasing product complexity. • Plan product transitions, including end-of-life decisions, replacement pathways, customer migration, inventory implications, and communications. • Partner closely with product managers, regional product and marketing teams, commercial leads, and country revenue leaders. • Balance global portfolio priorities with different regional market needs. • Establish greater discipline, structure, and consistency around portfolio-level decision-making. • Lead approximately five initiatives within your first 12 months that positively increase portfolio value. What You Bring • Strong analytical capability, with experience turning financial and product data into actionable commercial insights. • Experience developing commercial strategies for products already in market. • An understanding of pricing, price elasticity, portfolio positioning, product tiering, promotions, or revenue growth. • Use hypotheses, modelling and market testing to evaluate opportunities quickly, learn from results and scale successful interventions. • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from analysis through to implementation. • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how portfolio decisions can affect different regional markets. • The ability to communicate complex findings clearly and build compelling stories from data. • Experience influencing stakeholders and delivering outcomes without formal authority. Nice to Have • An MBA or comparable strategy and commercial training. • Experience in management consulting, product marketing, commercial portfolio management, or revenue growth management. • Experience working with financial data and enterprise product datasets. What Sets You Apart • Commercial Curiosity: Ask thoughtful questions, test assumptions, and look beyond the obvious answer. • Ownership: stay accountable from the initial insight through to implementation and measurable value. • Collaborative Approach: Actively seek different regional and functional perspectives before shaping a path forward. • Purposeful Influence: Build trust, create alignment, and help people move toward a shared decision. • Clarity in Complexity: Bring structure to evolving situations and communicate what matters most. • Action Orientation: You turn recommendations into practical changes rather than stopping at analysis. Why Join Resmed At Resmed, your work will contribute to changing lives through better sleep, breathing, and care outside the hospital. You will have the opportunity to shape the long-term commercial strategy of a substantial global portfolio and help established products deliver even greater impact. You will gain broad exposure across product, marketing, commercial, and revenue leadership teams while combining analytics, strategy, stakeholder influence, and implementation. You will also help build greater structure and discipline in an increasingly important area of portfolio management, with genuine ownership of initiatives that can create value across multiple markets. Joining us is more than saying “yes” to making the world a healthier place. It’s discovering a career that’s challenging, supportive and inspiring.
