Job Description

Cordance is dedicated to accelerating the growth of vertically focused business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies through acquisition and long-term tactical and financial guidance. We’re experienced operators and subject-matter experts with a passion for software and building businesses.

We partner with founders to help them scale their businesses and realize their companies’ full potential. We look for businesses with strong leadership and high potential for profitable growth, and work together to increase year-over-year revenue, company efficiency, and impact.

Cordance envisions that all companies we work with achieve their full potential. We embrace what makes each company great and build on those foundations. We believe in elevating a company as it scales, delivering dignity to the organization and its employees, and sharing a passion for building a legacy.

Overview of the Position We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and data-driven Marketing Operations Manager to own the reporting, measurement, and operational intelligence that enable Marketing leadership to make informed business decisions.

This role serves as the operational bridge between Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Data Engineering — translating business needs into scalable reporting frameworks, standardized operating processes, and AI-enabled insights across multiple business units.

This is a data- and systems-oriented role: the ideal candidate brings strong technical and analytical fluency, not a marketing-generalist background, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

The ideal candidate is a curious, highly analytical, and results-oriented professional who enjoys solving business problems through data, process, and technology — not a marketer who moved into operations.

They are comfortable partnering with both business and technical stakeholders, translating ambiguous questions into reporting and operational solutions, and are excited to contribute to the evolution of Marketing Operations through automation and AI.

Core Responsibilities Marketing Performance & Analytics Analyze Marketing performance across the funnel, pipeline, marketing-originated bookings, and campaign effectiveness to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, in close collaboration with Marketing and Data teams.

Ensure data accuracy and timeliness across automated performance scorecarding for lead-to-opportunity conversion, marketing-originated bookings, and marketing return on investment (ROMI), across all in-scope business units.

Analyze marketing budget performance and spend attainment to support planning and investment decisions. Reporting & Business Intelligence Own the Marketing reporting suite within the centralized BI/reporting layer, ensuring reports remain accurate, relevant, and aligned with business needs.

Partner with the Data Engineering team to define reporting requirements, prioritize enhancements, and validate completed work through business acceptance testing (QA/UAT). Develop and maintain standardized reporting documentation, metric definitions, and reporting logic.

Marketing Measurement & Operations Develop and refine measurement frameworks for campaign performance, attribution, lead scoring, pipeline source-mix tracking, and marketing ROI.

Create and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve marketing operations efficiency, consistency, and scalability across business units.

Optimize lead enrichment and lead routing processes to ensure data accuracy and seamless marketing-to-sales handoffs, including qualification standards prior to sales conversion. Design and manage GTM cadences to align Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales teams for effective execution and pipeline growth.

AI & Reporting Automation Support the development and operationalization of AI-enabled reporting and business insights for Marketing. Assist in the design and continuous improvement of automated reporting processes and AI-generated summaries.

Partner with Revenue Operations and Data Engineering to identify opportunities where AI can improve reporting efficiency and decision-making.

Sales Development (SDR) Operations Support Serve as the primary operations support for the sales development (SDR) function — reporting, activity data, and program cadences — partnering with Sales Operations, which retains ownership of SDR compensation and quota administration.

Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, and Data Engineering to ensure reporting and operational processes support business objectives. Coordinate implementation of reporting enhancements and process improvements across multiple stakeholders.

Serve as a trusted operational partner to Marketing leadership by translating data into actionable business recommendations. Competencies Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple
