Equitas Small Finance Bank - Test Analyst - DPDP Act Compliance

Job Summary : We are looking for a Test Analyst to support system and integration testing for initiatives aligned to DPDP Act compliance and data-privacy requirements. The role will validate end-to-end workflows that involve customer data, consent, data processing, integrations and related application changes, with strong focus on SIT and cross-system behavior. The tester will create detailed test cases, manage defects, validate APIs and databases, and ensure that functional and integration outcomes match documented compliance requirements. Prior experience in compliance testing or privacy validation is highly preferred, as the role requires careful interpretation of requirements and rigorous evidence-based testing across multiple applications. Key Responsibilities : - Design and execute SIT, integration, regression and end-to-end tests for DPDP/privacy-related changes. - Validate application workflows, API interactions, database updates and cross-system data movement. - Create traceable test cases from compliance, functional and technical requirements. - Log, prioritize, track and retest defects using JIRA or equivalent tools. - Prepare test evidence, status reports and release-readiness inputs for stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience : - 4-8 years of software testing experience with strong SIT/integration testing capability. - Expertise in test-case design, test execution and defect management. - Hands-on experience with API testing and database validation. - Ability to understand end-to-end workflows spanning multiple systems and data stores. - Strong documentation, analytical and stakeholder-collaboration skills. Preferred / Added Advantage : - Experience in compliance testing, data-privacy validation or DPDP-related programs is highly preferred. - Banking/financial-services application testing exposure.
