We have been at the forefront of energy storage development since our first energy storage project came online in 2018. As a leader in our industry, we have over 22 GW of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable energy projects in development and 33 projects in operation or construction across North America.

We are seeking a transactional attorney to work closely with the Senior Associate General Counsel on a broad range of EPC and Operations matters and be part of our lean and dynamic team.

Scope may include procurement of major equipment, long term service agreements, EPC contracts and balance of plant O&M agreements, as well as the handlingofcontractdisputes, change orders and compliance matters that may arise, during a period of rapid company growth.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with internal legal, commercial, and technical stakeholders as well as external counsel in drafting, reviewing and negotiating equipment supply and EPC contracts (and related services); Manage multiple transactions; Support the Execution, Operations and Asset Management teams during the construction and operational life cycle of the projects; Facilitate legal support for cross-functional teams, focusing on regulatory compliance and strategic legal positioning; Interface and negotiate directly with suppliers, EPCs, operators, and other counterparties as needed; Oversee and manage external counsel in a wide range of matters; Identify and succinctly communicate material risks and proposed solutions to Aypa’s execut
