Senior Product Manager - Mobile Banking

Job Title: Senior Product Manager - Mobile Banking Location: Bengaluru Experience: 6 - 10 Years Industry: BFSI / Fintech / Digital Banking Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership: - Define, own, and execute the multi-year product vision and roadmap for critical modules of the Mobile Banking platform in alignment with retail banking goals. - Translate high-level business objectives into clear functional requirements, roadmap milestones, and release schedules. - Conduct continuous market and competitor benchmarking to ensure our mobile app remains a market leader in features, design, and engagement. 2. End-to-End Module & Domain Ownership: - Independently manage and grow at least 2 - 3 of the following key domain areas within the mobile banking ecosystem: 1. Onboarding & Login (NTB/ETB journeys, secure authentication) 2. Payments & UPI (transaction banking, instant transfers) 3. Bill Payments & Recharges (BBPS integrations, recurring payments) 4. Cards Management (Credit & Debit card servicing, issuance) 5. Deposits & Accounts (savings, fixed/recurring deposits, One View portfolios) 6. Investments & Wealth (Wealth Management, Insurance tech, Mutual Funds) 7. Customer Service Requests (STP service workflows, requests, grievances) 8. Remittances & Persona Changes (NRI journeys, customized profiles for Minors/Seniors) 9. Lending / Loans (pre-qualified digital lending journeys, DIY loans) 10. Value Added Services (Travel, Concierge, Gift Cards, Wellness) 11. Security, Admin, & Identity Management 12. FRM (Fraud Risk Management controls) 13. DPDP Consent Management (regulatory consent architectures) 14. Rewards & Referrals (loyalty engines, viral referral program flows) 15. Customer Support Platforms (in-app chat, self-service channels) 16. Content Management & Multilingual Experiences 17. Personalization & AI Use Cases (PFM engines, hyper-personalized campaigns) 3. Functional Design & Agile Execution: - Demonstrate hands-on mastery in authoring and validating BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FSDs (Functional Specification Documents), PRDs (Product Requirement Documents), PRFs, and solution design documents. - Translate complex requirements into granular user stories and manage a prioritized sprint backlog. - Lead agile ceremonies (Scrum/SAFe models), coordinate closely with engineering, architecture, QA, and UI/UX design squads to ensure timely delivery with zero feature slippage. - Own UAT (User Acceptance Testing) coordination, readiness reviews, and controlled production rollouts. 4. Analytics & Performance Tracking: - Define, track, and monitor crucial product KPIs including monthly active users (MAU), funnel conversion rates, transactional adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction. - Leverage data-driven insights to identify drop-off points, eliminate friction, and continuously optimize user experience. 5. Risk, Regulatory, & Audit Readiness: - Ensure all mobile banking features strictly adhere to regulatory guidelines, security standards, and internal bank compliance policies. - Maintain comprehensive product documentation and process flows to support internal and external audits. What We are Looking For: - Total Experience: 6 to 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in dedicated Product Management within banking, financial services, or highly regulated consumer digital platforms. - Domain Expertise: At least 5 years of direct experience specifically in Indian mobile banking projects is mandatory, along with proven ownership of at least 2 - 3 of the key mobile domains listed above. - Education: Bachelor's or Post-Graduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. - Technical & PM Tools: Hands-on proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and wireframing tools (Miro/Figma). Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies. - Communication & Stakeholder Management: Elite verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging and influencing senior business heads, technology leaders, compliance partners, and external vendors.
