eCommerce Marketplace Manager

: We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Marketplace Manager with a proven track record of building and scaling marketplace businesses from 0 to scale. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in marketplace strategy, SKU architecture, assortment planning, pricing, demand analysis, and marketplace growth. Key Responsibilities: - Own the strategy and execution for building and scaling the marketplace business from the ground up. - Define marketplace assortment and SKU architecture, including single titles, bundles, combos, and pack sizes based on demand, customer behavior, and competitive landscape. - Develop and optimize marketplace assortment, pricing, promotions, and product positioning to drive sales and profitability. - Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, customer demand, and category performance to identify growth opportunities. - Build processes for marketplace onboarding, catalog management, inventory availability, order fulfillment, and operational execution. - Drive marketplace GMV, revenue, conversion, repeat purchases, and overall business growth. - Develop marketplace growth strategies across acquisition, assortment expansion, pricing, promotions, and customer experience. - Monitor key marketplace metrics and use data-driven insights to improve performance and profitability. - Work closely with supply chain, product, marketing, technology, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless marketplace execution. - Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and technology-led marketplace optimization. - Manage external marketplace partners, sellers, vendors, and other ecosystem stakeholders as required. - Build and scale marketplace processes, teams, and operating models as the business grows. - Present business performance, insights, opportunities, and growth plans to senior leadership. Required Skills & Experience: - 5 - 10 years of experience in Ecommerce, Marketplace, Digital Commerce, or a related domain. - Proven experience building and scaling a marketplace business from 0 to scale; experience managing only an established marketplace is not sufficient. - Strong understanding of marketplace business models, assortment strategy, SKU architecture, pricing, and demand planning. - Hands-on experience defining SKUs, bundles - combos, pack sizes, and product assortment based on market and customer demand. - Strong analytical and commercial mindset with experience using marketplace performance data to drive decisions. - Experience with marketplace growth, revenue - GMV management, conversion optimization, and profitability. - Strong cross-functional and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent problem-solving, execution, and communication skills.
