The Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce projects. The core mission is to validate that Salesforce configurations and custom developments meet business requirements, maintain data integrity, and remain completely defect free. Key Responsibilities . Test Strategy & Execution: Design and execute comprehensive test plans (covering functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing) tailored specifically for the Salesforce platform. . Technical Validation: Analyze requirements and technical specifications to test custom Apex code, Lightning components, workflows, validation rules, and data migrations. . Defect Management: Identify, document, and track system bugs using tools like ALM Octane, Zephyr, or Xray, and collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to resolve them. Critical Requirements & Qualifications To be successful, candidates must meet strict professional experience and tool proficiency thresholds: . Overall QA Experience: Minimum 5 years of full time software QA experience within the last 10 years. . Salesforce QA Specialty: Minimum 5 years of full time experience performing functional, non functional, and integration testing specifically inside a Salesforce environment. . System Regression & Automation: Minimum 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) running regression tests across complex integrated systems. . Collaboration: Minimum 3 years working closely in cross functional teams with business analysts and developers. . Tool Proficiency: Minimum 3 years of experience using: . ALM Octane, Zephyr, or Xray OR . At least three automation/analysis tools (e.g., Postman, Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, SOAPUI, SonarQube).
