Job Description
Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with business units across the organization to understand their data and reporting needs
• Facilitate requirements workshops and interviews to document data requirements, KPIs, and reporting use cases
• Translate business requirements into clear data specifications for the data engineering team
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical data platform team Data Transformation & Modelling
• Design and develop data transformation logic to prepare curated datasets for reporting and analytics consumption
• Build and maintain data models in Amazon Redshift or the curated/consumption zone of the Data Lake
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness for all reporting datasets
• Apply data quality checks and validation rules to support trust worthy business insights Dashboard & Visualisation Development
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau(connected via Amazon Redshift or S3)
• Create near-real-time operational dashboards, ad-hoc analysis views, and scheduled reports tailored to business unit needs
• Ensure dashboards are intuitive and accessible for non-technical end users
• Iterate on dashboard designs based on user feedback and evolving business requirements Data Catalogue & Documentation
• Document data definitions, business glossary terms, and dashboard logic in the AWS Glue Data Catalogue
• Maintain clear documentation of data sources, transformation logic, and report specifications
• Support self-service analytics by enabling business users to discover and access data independently ________________________________________ Requirements Essential
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a data engineering, business intelligence, or data analyst role
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and modelling
