Head - Commercial Finance Location: Gurugram - Sector 20 Reporting To: CFO Function: Commercial Finance Role Purpose: Lead the Commercial Finance function across Sales and Service businesses, driving profitable growth, pricing, margin expansion, trade-spend effectiveness, working capital, commercial governance and business partnering. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Sales, Service, Product and Business Heads on revenue, profitability and commercial decisions. - Drive pricing, gross margin, contribution margin and SKU/channel/customer profitability. - Govern trade schemes, distributor margins, retailer incentives and promotional spends, ensuring measurable ROI. - Drive profitability of service contracts, subscriptions, installations, spare parts and warranty costs. - Lead AOP, budgeting, forecasting and monthly business reviews, identifying risks and corrective actions. - Drive working-capital optimisation, including receivables, distributor credit, inventory and spare-parts efficiency. - Strengthen commercial controls, approvals, contracts, compliance and audit readiness. - Develop dashboards covering revenue, margins, trade spends, customer/channel profitability, service performance and sales productivity. - Build and lead a high-performing Commercial Finance team and provide strategic insights to the CFO and leadership. Candidate Profile: - CA / MBA Finance / CMA or equivalent. - 12 - 18+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, Business Finance, FP&A, Sales Finance or Manufacturing Finance. - Strong experience in P&L, pricing, profitability, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering. - Strong understanding of channel economics, trade spends and working capital. - Experience in consumer durables, FMCG, retail, e-commerce or service businesses preferred. - Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management and team-leadership skills.
