Mechanical Engineering Internship

Host Company: This host company is a young climate start-up, looking for a passionate, hard-working and capable engineering intern to help with engineering design projects. Tasks: • Develop company 3D CAD model database • Create design drawings – General Assemblies, Site Layouts, Renders • Independently undertake small design projects • Development of technical documents, specification sheets, engineering briefs • Assist CTO in engineering drafting work as well as any related technical task Requirements About You: • Cheerful and upbeat demeanor • Proactive, able to work independently with minimal supervision • Can-Do attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile • Adaptability, being able to work without a framework in a startup environment • Tertiary degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Renewable Energy Engineering • Intermediate Solidworks and/or Autodesk skills • Proficient Microsoft Office suite skills – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Experience in solar or wind power generation design or in the use of advanced composites for pressure vessel design would be highly desired • Commitment to work 3 days per week for a 12 weeks period
